On 27 Oct 2013, accompanied by the beat of kompangs, 210 people walked more than 400m from Iman Kindergarten located at Tampines St 11 to the busy Tampines Round Market. Holding on to their poles of bunga manggar, colourful palm blossoms traditionally used for Malay weddings and festivals, they later danced the poco-poco at the market. This was to add festivities to Tampines Changkat CC’s Beautiful Sunday held on the last Sunday of every month.
